I have done extensive work for Magowan's Mirror Maze in San Francisco.

The iconic attraction is located on Pier 39 at Fisherman's Wharf.

I updated the lighting system and programmed the lights.

Infinity light sculpture that I designed and fabricated for the lobby.

I designed and installed these custom decals for the hallway windows.

The frosted decals resemble stained glass.

I then created vector images from photos that I took of the maze and created decals for the interior hallway windows.

I then made attraction spots within the maze.

The butterfly (prep work)

Under certain lights the wings fluoresce green and the red body turns black.

When the lights change the wings and body disappear.

I begin drawing my ideas out with a pencil.

My drawings are converted into digital files for the laser cutter.

TAP Plastics in San Leandro facilitates all my ideas into actual pieces. Russ, has been instrumental in helping me. Here I'm holding one of my first mushroom pieces.

My completed laser cut sea lion. I named him George. It still has protective backing on it.

Installation of undersea section in progress

Kelp, sardines, jellyfish, and sea lions inhabit the undersea portion of the maze.

The mirrors allow the creatures to appear suspended in water under blue light.

You can't tell if a fish is there or if it's a reflection
